Online registration is the most reliable and smooth way to ensure that the child is photographed and that the guardian can view the photos after the photo session.
The paper form distributed to homes is used to streamline the photography process and to provide families with registration instructions and a unique photo code. The child’s name is written on this form so that the photographer can ensure they are using the correct form and can save the photos to the correct photo code using the barcode or QR code on the form.
However, essential information such as the names of the photographed child and the guardian, as well as the guardian’s contact details for delivering the photo links, is saved through the online registration. The actual photography consent is also given electronically. While the paper form is accepted as proof of consent, it does not attach any name or contact details with the photos.
We always recommend completing the online registration for the photo session no later than the day before the photo shoot, even if the paper form is brought along on the photo day.
